Archaeological Museum of the Eauze Treasure

The museum exhibits the Eauze Treasure, which was found in 1985. The Roman treasure is made of 28003 silver coins, 45 bronze coins, 6 aureus and around 50 jewels. It dates back from 261 BC. It is the biggest Roman treasure found and fully preserved in France. The museum is open from March to November. In July and August it is open every day from 10 am to 7 pm.
