Historical and Numismatic Museum “Héctor Carlos Janson”

The museum houses more than 15,000 pieces of particular interest and rarity that are the heritage of the nation ranging from types of monetary circulated in pre-Columbian American territory, as cocoa beans and copper axes, to a significant collection of doubloons and royal Hispanic viceregal of Peru and the Rio de la Plata. Moreover, coins and banknotes historical provinces and the nation, including money circulating today. An other part of its assets is related to the manufacture of coins and notes.
