Museum S.E. Mint is, since 1927 the space intended to preserve and give value to both tangible and intangible cultural and historical heritage, this institution has been generated over the years since its founding in 1881. Heritage expresses the we form and reflects, reinforcing our identity, to better understand our present and project our future. From the museum, the history of the institution and its place in the history of coinage itself and the national economy is managed. It has a permanent exhibition that informs about the manufacturing processes of coins, medals and banknotes, also supported by a specialized library and historical archive.
